Jewellery Polishing London
| Scratch to Shine
Restore the finish you love
Daily wear leaves swirls and dull patches. Our polishers remove fine surface marks, refresh the finish (mirror or satin), and protect stones and settings throughout.
- Professional scratch reduction & finishing
- High polish, satin, matte or sandblast textures
- Rhodium re-plating for white gold (optional)
- Stone-safe techniques for soft/porous gems
Why polish professionally?
It’s not just shine—done right, polishing preserves detail and setting integrity.
Controlled material removal
We reduce scratches using progressive compounds, protecting hallmarks and crisp edges.
Setting safety
Claws, channels and bezels are checked and secured before finishing.
Finish to taste
Choose mirror, satin, brushed or sandblast. We can match a factory finish.
White gold refresh
Optional rhodium plating restores that bright, even white after polishing.
Metals & items we refinish
- Gold (9–22ct), Platinum, Palladium, Silver — full refinish or light touch-up.
- Rings & wedding sets — micro-scratch removal; re-tip and tighten stones if needed.
- Bracelets, bangles, chains — straighten, clasp/hinge check, texture match.
- Earrings & pendants — tarnish removal, texture restore, backings checked.
Note: Titanium/tungsten are cleaned only (not polishable by conventional means). Porous stones (opal, turquoise, pearl, emerald, etc.) are masked or removed before finishing.

Jewellery Polishing FAQs
Does polishing thin my jewellery?
We use minimal, controlled abrasion. For very thin areas we recommend repair first (e.g., re-shank, re-tip) before polishing.
How often should I polish?
Light touch-ups as needed; full refinish roughly every 6–12 months for daily wear—more sparingly to preserve metal.
Will stones be safe?
Yes—soft or treated stones are masked/removed; we tighten settings and QC after finishing.
How long does it take?
Touch-ups can be while-you-wait; full refinish typically 1–2 days; with rhodium 1–3 days depending on complexity.
