*Certain hard metals & tungsten/ceramic can’t be resized conventionally—see “Alternatives” below.
How ring resizing works
- We measure your finger accurately (or use your provided UK size).
- The shank is cut and metal is added (size up) or removed (size down).
- Precision solder/weld, re-round on mandrel and profile match.
- Prong check, ultrasonic clean & refinish (polish or matte).
- Final quality check and fit confirmation.
Optional: laser engraving inside the band after resizing.
Turnaround & same-day options
Many plain bands can be resized same day (often within a few hours). Stone-set and complex rings are typically 24–48 hours, depending on setting checks. Mail-in service available UK-wide with tracked return.

In-studio sizing
We use UK A–Z+ ring gauges and consider knuckle vs. base fit, season and width of band.
Remote/Online
We’ll guide you via video and send a printable sizer or sizing kit if needed—ideal for mail-in orders.
Metals we resize
Yellow/white/rose gold (9k–22k), platinum, palladium, sterling silver and most stainless/titanium bands.
When extra care’s needed
Full eternities, tension settings, heat-sensitive gems (opal, emerald, pearls) and fragile antique shanks—assessed first.
Alternatives
For tungsten/ceramic or heavy pattern bands, we can fit sizing beads, a comfort sleeve or remake the shank.
