Jewellery Casting
What is jewellery casting?
Jewellery casting is the process of creating a metal piece from a model. Typically we craft or 3D-print a wax, place it in investment (a specialised plaster), burn out the wax to form a cavity, then pour molten precious metal to capture every detail. It’s precise work—our specialists manage temperature, flow and timing to ensure clean fills and crisp surfaces.
Our workflow
1) Model
Wax hand-carving or CAD/3D print to your brief, including prong, bezel and gallery details.
2) Invest
Model is invested in plaster; controlled burnout creates a precise cavity for metal flow.
3) Cast
Centrifugal/vacuum casting in gold, platinum, palladium or silver, matched to your alloy/karat.
4) Finish
Sprue removal, filing, emery, polish; stone setting, engraving and plating available in-house.
